Summary
In the book “Children at work” by Anne Kielland and Maurizia Tovo (2006) Page 1 to Page 20, the authors introduce the history of the child labor and focus on the causes of the child labor in Africa. Kielland and Tovo analysis “the African charter and the convention for the rights of the child” (pg3-pg7, 2006) which is the basic cause of the child labor. In addition, the authors also list “thirty five things” (pg10-Pg14, 2006) that can make child labor harmful in political way, parents causes and society causes. During the page 15-20, Kielland and Tovo states the connection between “Schooling” (Pg15, 2006), “Poverty” (Pg19, 2006) and the Child labor.
